Bio:
The father of Roland is the strong, handsome, optimistic, valorous, and slightly naive Duke of Septimania.
He is the bastard son of the false Queen Aliste and Bernard of Clermont. He is the royal seneschal until he falls in love with Bertha and they are exiled. After their marriage and reinstatement at court, he is made Duke of Septimania.
Bertha
Count Milo’s wife Bertha is Charlemagne’s cousin, thereby making the Count an in-law.
